Get to know Orthodontist Dr. Laurie L. Fricke, who serves patients in Louisiana. 

Recognized as one of the top orthodontists in the New Orleans area for 7 consecutive years, Dr. Fricke specializes in straightening teeth and creating exceptional smiles. For over 30 years, she has treated more than 6,ooo friends, families, and neighbors in the surrounding areas of Covington and Franklinton, Louisiana. 

Having dedicated her entire orthodontic career to making smiles new, she has created amazing smiles using clear aligners similar to Invisalign®, ceramic translucent braces that are clear, and silver metal braces with numerous color choices. Patients love her caring and gentle touch and her outstanding results! 

The orthodontist whom local dentists choose, she has also treated many local dentists and their families. 

Graduating from the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, Dr. Fricke continued her education to complete her residency in orthodontics at the same educational venue. She is board-certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, which is important because no dentist and only some orthodontists have completed this prestigious certification process. It marks a level of training, knowledge, and skill in orthodontic treatment that will truly benefit patients and their families.

In good standing with a number of professional organizations, Dr. Fricke is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Louisiana Association of Orthodontists, the LSU Orthodontic Alumni Foundation, the American Dental Association, the Louisiana Dental Association, and the Northlake Dental Association.

Passionate about helping children have healthy teeth, she organizes Children’s Dental Health Month and gives away toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss. She has done this every year for over 25 years and loves it! In fact, her passion to help kids have healthy teeth has taken her to far away places like India and Honduras.

As an orthodontist, Dr. Fricke is responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient’s teeth and with their oral development.
