Get to know Family Physician Dr. Victoria C. Herold, who serves patients in Frisco, Texas.

A trusted family physician, Dr. Herold works alongside Certified Medical Assistant, Pamela Ford, at Clover Family Medicine in Frisco, Texas. 

“My goal is to bring southern hospitality back to healthcare. So when you come in, you feel warm and welcome” she stated.

To attest to her renowned reputation, Dr. Herold offers a full range of primary care services including the management of acute and chronic diseases, preventive medicine, and women’s health. She also has interest in functional medicine, travel medicine and skin care.

Inspired by the influence of her parents, two emergency room doctors, Dr. Herold chose to pursue a career in the medical field in order to provide patients with proper guidance and healing.

After completing her undergraduate degree at Anderson University in South Carolina, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia in 2014. Upon completing her medical requirements, she excelled at an internship and residency in family medicine at the Anmed Health Family Medicine in 2015 and 2017, respectively.

In the pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor attained board certification in family medicine through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Herold holds membership status with the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association, and also volunteers in the children’s ministry at Hope Fellowship.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. 

Known for providing quality and compassionate care through open communication with patients, Dr. Herold notably received a Rising Star’s Award in 2019. 

With her large family, she enjoys fishing, traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time outside in her spare time.
