  • What is the aftercare required after plastic surgery to treat a scar?

    Thank you for your inquiry! Following a facial plastic surgery procedure, I recommend avoiding direct sunlight to avoid hyperpigmentation and applying a scar gel that is formulated to significantly improve scar texture, color and overall appearance. Additionally, I recommend laser treatments such as PicoSure or Icon 1540, to break down any remaining scar tissue and encourage cell turnover for healthy tissue growth.
