Dr. Landon Johnson, a board certified dermatologist, joined Moeller Dermatology in August 2013. In 2005 he graduated Magna Cum Laude, from Fort Hays State University, with a degree in chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating #1 in his class. After that he completed his intern year in Internal Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita followed by a Dermatology residency at the University of Colorado-Denver. He has received multiple honors and awards, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Johnson performs Mohs Micrographic Surgery for selected skin cancers and has been offering the service since 2013. Dr. Johnson believes in involving his patients when making treatment decisions and offering the latest and most advanced treatments available for those with skin related problems. Dr. Johnson also prides himself with staying up to date with the latest advances in the field of Dermatology. He has expertise in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Johnson has roots in Kansas as he grew up in the small NW Kansas town of Quinter. During that time Dr. Johnson played numerous sports and was involved in Boy Scouts, where he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. One of his favorite parts of Boy Scouts was camping and hiking, and he still enjoys these activities, especially in the Colorado Mountains. After high school Dr. Johnson played Collegiate Football at Fort Hays State University and sports continue to be an interest of his. Dr. Johnson is married with four children whose events keep him busy when not at work.
