I had radiation therapy for lymphoma last April and am supposed to see Dr. Shapira every 3 months for a year. The 1st appointment was in August-- I showed up and he was on vacation and no one informed me. I finally saw him in October. The 2nd appointment was scheduled for Jan. 6th--I got a text saying to confirm on Jan 3rd, but when I answered a day later, they told me it was too late. I called and had to cancel and reschedule for Jan. 31st. I just called the office--no appointment was on his schedule for me, and the next date available is March 13th. This is ridiculous. If I had a choice I would NEVER go to this doctor, but he is the oncologist the doctors who actually treated me said I had to turn to for the follow up.
