Back in 1984, she moved to Gunnison Valley with her 2 young daughters who were then 4 and 5 years of age. (Tarah Niccoli-Taylor is now manager and aesthetician of the Colorado Laser Spa & Crystal Niccoli is Dr. Niccoli’s medical assistant on the clinic side). Shortly after the move, she married a 3rd generation Crested Butte local who had 2 boys and whose family originally immigrated to the area in the late 1800’s – during the area’s mining and ranching Era. Dr. Niccoli made Crested Butte her home and soon the family welcomed a 5th child (Galand) to the blended family.
Shortly after the birth of her son, she went back to school to get her undergraduate in pre-medicine with the intention to become a doctor and serve the people of the community. In 1993, she graduated from Western State College and then went on to graduate from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1999. After graduating from medical school, she completed a year of training in internal medicine at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. She then moved to Phoenix, Arizona and completed 4 years of surgical residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the Phoenix Integrated Residency Program in OB/GYN.
A true believer in the power of women and the need for knowledge, Dr. Niccoli opened her OB/Gyn Clinic in Gunnison Valley in 2005. Later, in 2009, she opened Colorado Laser Spa when she recognized a need in the valley to provide well-being services to women, helping to enhance the natural beauty of a woman’s body. This fulfilled a need in the Gunnison Valley for a local laser, CoolSculpting®, and medical spa that could treat both residents and visitors alike.
By devoting her time and attention to every patient she sees, Dr. Niccoli aids med spa clients in achieving complete health and wellness so they can feel their very best. In addition, she has the education and experience to recommend treatments that improve the total wellness of guests at her very special medical spa where they can feel good about themselves inside and out.
