As a physician-led specialty medical group, the Oregon Clinic delivers the best practices and latest advances in medicine.

Dr. Mosier specializes in, and focuses on Critical Care, general surgery, necrotizing soft tissue infections, Stevens-Johnson Syndrome/Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis and acute burn care and rehabilitation at the Oregon Burn Center. Oregon Burn Center is the only burn center in Oregon and cares for both adult and pediatric burn patients from all over the state.

Prior to this work at the Oregon Clinic, Dr. Mosier was an Associate Professor of Surgery at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and vice chair of clinical trials, division of trauma, surgical critical care and burns, at Loyola University Medical Center.

Dr. Mosier earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University. Located in the city of St. Louis, Missouri, Saint Louis University School of Medicine was established in 1836 and has the distinction of awarding the first M.D. degree west of the Mississippi River.

Dr. Mosier underwent general surgery training at Loyola University, and has has been active in teaching and research at Loyola University. He gained fellowships in trauma, surgical critical care and burns at the University of Washington. The Trauma Burn and Critical Care programs are located at Harborview Medical Center, the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the region and a leading Trauma Center in the USA and internationally.

Dr. Mosier is certified in surgery and critical care by the American Board of Surgery; holds an IL State Medical License; and OR State Medical License.

He has authored articles in numerous professional publications including 15-Year Review of Pediatric Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis, Pediatric toxic epidermal necrolysis: using SCORTEN and predictive models to predict morbidity when a focus on mortality is not enough, Surgical excision of the burn wound and many more.

Recipient of numerous awards and accolades, Dr.Mosier has been honored with the Loyola National Humanism Award, Juan Angelats Distinguished Service Award, the John L. Keeley Traveling Fellowship Award, MAGIS Award For Excellence In Patient Care, and Top Doctor Award.

While devoted to his profession, Dr. Mosier enjoys a full life outside of work where he runs, competes in marathons and triathlons, golfs, cooks and spends time with his family.
