For over a decade, Keyhani Eye Associates have improved patients’ vision by leading innovative treatments in cataract and eyelid surgery. The physicians and staff offer a wide range of services, including eye exams, treatment of most eye diseases, small incision cataract surgery with expertise in the implantation of the newest intraocular lens implants, as well as various eyelid plastic surgeries with a goal to help each patient attain their highest quality of vision possible.
Alongside his clinical role, Dr. Keyhani serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Mount Sinai’s New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he teaches residents both cataract surgery and oculoplastic surgery. He is a three-time award winner of the prestigious Residents Teaching Award, which is given to the most outstanding surgical professor.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), the doctor is board-certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology, whose mission is to serve the public by improving the quality of ophthalmic practice through a process of certification and Maintenance of Certification that fosters excellence and encourages continual learning.
A 1999 graduate of The Ohio State College of Medicine, Dr. Keyhani went on to receive his Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Johns Hopkins University. As for his training, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at Mount Sinai’s New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, which is ranked in the top ten best hospitals for disorders of the eye, ear, nose, and throat. He then went on to complete two fellowships in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Vermont and the University of Calgary before embarking on his professional journey.

In his spare time, Dr. Keyhani enjoys traveling abroad doing medical missions and has been to the Philippines and Haiti several times. He resides in Somers New York with his wife and two children.
