The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in nuclear medicine by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM), which certifies physicians as specialists in the practice of nuclear medicine. The ABNM is one of the 24 member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties.
