There are several options to treat the gap between your teeth. If you are okay with a long-term fix, you can do Orthodontics with clear aligners like Invisalign to close the gap between your teeth. If you want a quick fix, you can get laminate veneers (which is a cosmetic procedure) to close the gap between your teeth. In either case, you would need to see a dentist for an evaluation or consultation for a cosmetic or orthodontic procedure. Should I have my teeth cleaned more than twice a year?
Yes, you can have your teeth cleaned more than twice a year. Depending on the amount of plaque & tartar buildup and on the gum pocket measurements, your dentist and dental hygienist can determine if you should have your teeth cleaned more frequently. My front tooth just cracked. How can it be fixed?
Yes, the crack can be repaired. Depending on the size of the fracture, there are several options to repair the crack. If most of the tooth is intact, the crack can be repaired with composite bonding or a laminate (porcelain) veneer. If part of the tooth is broken, then a porcelain crown is the best option versus a laminate veneer. The crown covers the entire tooth and protects the tooth from further damage, whereas a veneer just covers the outside portion of the tooth.
