Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Sheo P. Sharma, who serves patients in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Dr. Sharma is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist in practice with Femi-Care Surgery Center in Owings Mills, Maryland. It is an abortion clinic devoted to providing confidential and compassionate women’s health care and abortion services.

A 1969 graduate of Darbhanga Medical College in India, Dr. Sharma relocated to the United States to further his training. Once there, he served his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. 

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.
