The Sacramento VA Medical Center is a 60-bed, state-of-the-art, inpatient facility offering a full range of comprehensive health care services including medical, surgical, primary, and mental health care. The medical center, which is comprised of 24 medical-surgical beds, 16 TCU beds, 10 ICU beds, 16 BHICU, and a four room operating suite, also houses a cardiac catheterization lab, a gastrointestinal & endoscopy suite, angiography capability, and a 16,000 square-feet of research laboratory. The medical center offers a wide range of outpatient and diagnostic services, including mammography, MRI, CT, and PET scanning.
Prior to his current endeavours, Dr. Mori served as an attending physician to other local hospitals, including the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
His acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2009. He then went on to serve his residency in internal medicine at Stanford University in 2012.
Highly regarded for his profound knowledge and exclusive set of skills in his profession, Dr. Mori is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a member of the American Medical Association.
In addition to his clinical functions, he has written an article titled “External Beam RadioTherapy Boost to Reduce the Impact and Caused by Edema in Prostate Permanent Feed Implants.”
