Get to know Dentist Dr. Thomas Drake, who serves patients in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

An exceptional dentist, Dr. Drake has had the great opportunity to serve Bonner Springs and its surrounding cities at his private practice - Drake Family Dentistry - for over 30 years.

“It is my passion to provide our community the best dental care possible. The field of dentistry has changed so much over the years, and I find that I enjoy it now more than ever. Every day is interesting, rewarding and I love the challenges that this field provides. I have the greatest patients, so giving them a beautiful smile and a comfortable experience is the reason I get up every morning” expressed the doctor.

Academically, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. To keep himself at the forefront of the newest most advanced technologies in the dental field, he regularly participates in continuing education courses and seminars throughout the year. Being able to offer so many different services allows him to provide his patients with a smooth experience and ability to fully take care of their needs.

As a testament to his success, the doctor is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM). The ABDSM believes higher standards for dental sleep medicine translate into better care for patients and greater accountability.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

Happily married, Dr. Drake and his wife, Pat, have three amazing children, Angela, Adam, and Andrea. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, running a 5k, and doing lawn work.
