Get to know Dentist Dr. Barry Applegate, who serves patients in Covington, Kentucky. 

Expert dentist, Dr. Applegate, is currently serving Covington, Kentucky and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with Applegate Dentistry & Medspa, a family dental practice dedicated to making sure patients are comfortable and well taken care of. Dr. Applegate earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Kentucky Dental School. He went on to complete a residency in general and hospital dentistry at the University of Louisville. Additionally, he has attended the Ohio Valley Dental Seminar. 

To stay up to date in his field, Dr. Applegate maintains a professional membership with the Northern Kentucky Dental Society (NKDS). The NKDS is a professional association for dentists, founded in 1910, who are members of the American Dental Association and Kentucky Dental Association. 

Dentistry is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a dentist, Dr. Applegate is trained to carry out such treatment as professional cleaning, restorative, prosthodontic, and endodontic procedures, and performing examinations.
