Back in 1992, Dr. Dupiton received his medical degree from the School of Medicine and Pharmacy of the State University of Haiti. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Brooklyn campus of the New York University Langone Medical Center, formerly Lutheran Langone Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in critical care at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, New York.

Prior to joining EMS Housecall, Dr. Dupiton was a staff physician at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in the Critical Care Institute, a staff physician at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus & Medical ICU Director at Hillcrest Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic Hospital.

An expert in his field, he is board-certified in internal medicine, critical care, and neuro critical care by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Among his professional affiliations, Dr. Dupiton is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Shock Society, the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, and the European Society of Critical Care, of which he is a member of the Committee on Acute Respiratory Failure and Acute Kidney Injury.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists.
