Get to know Dentist Dr. Wesley P. Yemoto, who serves patients in San Jose, California.

San Jose’s premier dentist, Dr. Yemoto has been serving as the Owner and Operator of Wes Yemoto Esthetic Dentistry since 1980. 

Caring for patients like family, he and his team believe a patient can have a fun and educational experience at the dentist while receiving excellent care. They manage everything from children’s checkups to the PinHole Surgical Technique, hard and soft tissue laser dentistry, oral sedation dentistry, sleep apnea treatment, as well as overall health and wellness guidance.

Educated in the United States, Dr. Yemoto received his Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology from California State University at Fresno. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry. 

Committed to continuing education, he takes many advanced courses each year to enhance his skills to serve the dental care needs of his patients better and provide them with a gentle and comfortable dental experience. Dr. Yemoto has trained at the Kois Center, Dental Boot Kamp, PAC-Live, and attended many lectures by some of the most renowned professionals in dentistry, including Ray Bertolotti. 

Furthermore, he has training in many different areas, including the BaleDoneen Method for Heart Attack and Stroke Prevention, the American College for Integrated Medicine in Dentistry Ozone Courses, PHAST™ Start Laser Training, and SmoothLase® and NightLase® Training. 

Among his professional dental affiliations, Dr. Yemoto is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara County Dental Society, the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Caring about Kids – Smiles for Life!, Smiles for Schools, Crown Council, Docs Oral Conscious Sedation Organization, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. 

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy. 

Residing in Los Gatos, California, Dr. Yemoto enjoys snow skiing, traveling, jogging, cycling, and racquetball.
