As a mother of two, Dr. Smith knows how important it is for a child to be comfortable and stress-free during their dental visits. It is important to her that all children receive the best possible care in a way that is fun and pleasant. This is why she places a great focus on prevention and her goal is to keep a child’s smile healthy.

As a testament to her success, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, whose mission is to certify pediatric dentists through a voluntary examination process that continuously validates their knowledge, skills, and experience for delivering quality patient outcomes.

Born in Russia, Dr. Smith and her family immigrated to the United States in 1992. She attended dental school at New York University, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011. After that, she did her General Practice Residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, which is a Level 1 Trauma Center. She then went on to complete her pediatric dental training at St. Barnabas Hospital, which is also a Level 1 Trauma Center. It was there that she had the privilege to treat patients at the Rose F. Kennedy Center for Children and Adults with Special Needs. 

Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence. Pediatric dentists are dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teen years. They have the experience and qualifications to care for a child’s teeth, gums, and mouth throughout the various stages of childhood.
