A highly trained infectious disease specialist, Dr. Youssef serves on the faculty of the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), and is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the ETSU James H. Quillen College of Medicine.

A native of Lebanon, she received her medical degree from the Lebanese University Faculty of Medical Sciences in 2004, and completed an internship and residency in family medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center in 2006. After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in internal medicine and her fellowship in infectious disease at the ETSU James H. Quillen College of Medicine in 2009 and 2011, respectively.

Subsequent to her education, the doctor attained board certification in infectious disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
