Get to know Family Physician Dr. Andrew Mrowiec, who serves patients in Aberdeen and Bel Air, Maryland.

Dr. Mrowiec, a caring and compassionate family physician, is owner and operator of Aberdeen Family Practice in Aberdeen, Maryland. Specializing in comprehensive health care. His medical office consists of two advanced practice providers, Amber Vasold and. Kerri Mcdonald, and in house pharmacy and laboratory in order to accommodate the medical needs of his patients. His patients have excellent things to say about him, one stating “Dr. Mrowiec is terrific and is a very caring doctor. Awesome staff and very responsive. Great pharmacy on site too.” 

Professionally, the doctor remains affiliated with University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health in Bel Air, Maryland. It provides extensive care to maintain and improve health in the northeastern Maryland region. 

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Mrowiec graduated with his medical degree from the Medical University of Warsaw in 1980. Upon relocating to the United States to further his training, he completed his internship at St. Luke’s Medical Center in 1993, followed by his residency in family medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in 1995.

With over four decades of experience in his field, he is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
