Dr. David Mitts is the founder of One New Man Healing Center in Renton, WA. Dr. Mitts evaluates and treats patients based on the concepts of oriental medicine and is one of very few practicing Classical Five Element Acupuncture in the entire Puget Sound. This powerful system addresses underlying patterns and treats the roots of health and disease. Dr. Mitts received his B.A. from the prestigious Harvard University in Psychology, which he incorporates into his treatments. He also received his Masters in Acupuncture, M.Ac, from the world renowned Maryland University of Integrative Health and post graduate degrees from the College of Traditional Acupuncture/Worsley Institute in the U.K.

How long do the effects of an acupuncture treatment last?
That depends on many factors. The goal of acupuncture is to restore balance in the whole person. That involves three processes. First is corrective. That usually occurs with weekly sessions. Second we move to teaching your system to learn to correct itself. We do that with time by extending the intervals between treatments. As the interval increases the energy system takes more ownership of the process. The third goal is preventing breakdowns through an active maintenance program. Dr David Mitts helped me with several complaints I had prior to starting treatment. My left foot was purple most of the time and now it is pink! I am stilling getting treated and will continue therapy for as long as it takes to see long term effects. Thank you for being compassionate and tough on me at the same time!!!

Dr Mitts has been very significant in my good health. I make sure that I get a treatment at least each 2 weeks inorder to stay in health. He has taught me about staying in health versus trying to get well. I highly recommend treatments by Dr Mitts.

We are from out of state or we’d be coming regularly as a family. Our friend, Cherie S told us how much David helped her when she was hurting. My son and I came in together for pain and we both felt so much better. It works!! I came in a couple more times and felt so improved that I eventually tried acupuncture in my city but, it was not even half as good as with David Mitts.

David is an amazing Acupunturist he has helped me in so many ways it’s hard to count. He is able to address the areas in your body that need help and gets your body functioning at 100 percent performance. My life has been change because of his work and I’m truely thankful!! I would highly recommend him!!

Absolutely love Dr. Mitts - I've been receiving treatments for several years and no one comes close to his combination of expertise and ability to perceive the underlying roots of my health issues. The atmosphere of the clinic is warm and inviting and I would highly recommend it.
