Get to know Radiologist Dr. Bradford R. Uricchio, who serves patients in El Centro, California.

Dr. Uricchio is a well-versed radiologist and a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology. He is in practice with El Centro Regional Medical Center in California.

El Centro Regional Medical Center is an acute-care medical center, serving the health care needs of the Imperial Valley since 1956. After a $44 million expansion, what started as a 34-bed licensed hospital has grown into a 161 bed, state-of-the-art facility. The mission of the Medical Center is to promote health and wellness through the delivery of innovative, high quality patient care.

A 1986 graduate of the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Uricchio went on to serve his residency in diagnostic radiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital. This was followed by a fellowship with the University of Virginia Health System.

Dedicated to excellence, he is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology, which is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Radiology is a medical specialty that uses medical imaging to diagnose and treat diseases within the human body. Radiologists are medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical imaging procedures, such as exams and tests, X-rays, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, mammography, positron emission tomography, and ultrasound.
