Gregory C. Bryniczka, DPM, FACFAS, is a podiatrist who diagnoses and treats patients Northwest Podiatry Center in Illinois. Dr. Bryniczka established the center in 1976 and currently practice alongside his son, board certified foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgeon, Adam W. Bryniczka, DPM, as well as Drs. David O’Brian and Bryn Laubacher. Northwest Podiatry Center has office locations in Wheaton, Aurora, Streamwood, Niles, South Elgin, Huntley, and Dekalb, IL. Dr. Bryniczka’s son, Dr. Adam Bryniczka, who is an integral part of the practice, is a 2006-graduate of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine/Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed extensive training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Yale University Hospital.

Dr. Bryniczka is a skilled podiatrist who specializes in the treatment of the foot, ankle, and related parts of the leg. In private practice since 1976, he has been striving to help resolve patients’ pain and function issues at Northwest Podiatry Center with offices throughout the state of Illinois, including Wheaton, Aurora, Streamwood, Niles, South Elgin, Huntley, and Dekalb.

Maintaining a tradition of excellence in podiatric care, he and his team of experts offer the latest state-of-the-art conservative and surgical care and maintain staff privileges at some of the most highly respected hospitals and outpatient surgical facilities in Northern Illinois, including Rush Copley Medical Center (Aurora); Advocate Sherman Hospital (Elgin); Provena St. Joseph Hospital (Elgin); Kishwaukee Community Hospital (DeKalb); Holy Family Medical Center (DesPlaines); Alexian Brothers Medical Center (Elk Grove); St. Alexius Medical Center (Hoffman); and Central DuPage Hospital (Winfield). Surgicenter affiliations include Valley Ambulatory Surgical Center (St. Charles); Center for Surgery (Naperville); and others.

Following the completion of his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1974, Dr. Bryniczka went on to complete his surgical residency at both Northlake Community Hospital and Hines Veterans Hospital. 

Especially interested in sports medicine, he is an Associate of the American College of Podiatric Sports Medicine. What’s more, he is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

A past President of United Podiatry Services of America, Dr. Bryniczka also serves as a consultant to Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company.
