Get to know Family Practitioner Dr. Zavier C. Ash, who serves patients in Georgia: Snellville, Stone Mountain, Tucker, and the surrounding areas.

As a family practitioner, Dr. Ash’s clinical interests include preventative medicine as well as acute and chronic disease management. He is the Medical Director of CrossLinks Family Practice with office locations in Snellville and Tucker, Georgia. 

At Crosslinks “we practice medicine from the heart.” We are committed to providing patients with convenient access to high-quality healthcare which is not only about the services we provide to our patients but also educating our patients and their families. 

We thrive on building solid relationships with those in our care and are proud of the services we provide to our community. Crosslinks is one of the few clinics in the area to offer on-site physical therapy, venous ablations, hormone replacement, immigration and allergy services. 

As an expert in his field, Dr. Ash also serves as a Civil Surgeon with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Services. 

After graduating from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1991, he went on to earn his medical degree at MeHarry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1996. After completing medical school, he attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where he focused on family practice and OB-GYN. 

A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association, the doctor is certified by the FMCSA to perform DOT physical exams. 

Family medicine, formerly family practice, is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family practitioner or family doctor. They are expected to treat a wide range of medical conditions, develop long-term, personal relationships with their patients, produce individualized healthcare programs based on patient historical data, and offer continuous support and health management advice.

In his personal life, Dr. Ash is married with six children. Away from the office, one can find him out enjoying the great outdoors, fishing, playing chess or working in his greenhouse where he has built an aquaponics system to promote a greener and self-sustaining food source. He also enjoys being home spending time with his family and his farm animals.
