He also completed his fellowship training in pain management at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dr. Malik is board-certified in anesthesiology and has a subspecialty certification in pain management from the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). The mission of the ABA is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.

Dr. Malik holds professional memberships with several organizations, including the American Board of Medical Specialities, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
