Get to know Psychologist Dr. Eric Reznik, who serves patients in Hallandale Beach, Florida.

An established psychologist, Dr. Reznik is the CEO of BeWell Rehabilitation and Counseling Group, located in Hallandale Beach, Florida. His innovative and comprehensive clinical approach has earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.

Educated in the United States, he received both his Master’s degree and Doctor of Psychology degree from the renowned Miami Institute of Psychology (now Albizu University) in 1999.

Throughout his career, Dr. Reznik has shared his vast knowledge and expertise by teaching at various institutions including Miami Dade College, Florida International University, and others. Currently, he holds the position of an adjunct faculty member at Barry University.

In addition to his psychological expertise, he has cultivated a passion for martial arts, which he has both studied and taught since 1983. Drawing upon his extensive knowledge in this area, he incorporates Therapeutic Martial Arts into his therapeutic practices, recognizing its potential for physical, mental, and emotional healing.

Moreover, he embraces alternative therapies, including Neurofeedback, light and sound therapies, and hypnosis, to offer a holistic and integrative approach to his clients’ well-being.

Beyond his clinical work and teaching, Dr. Reznik has made significant contributions to the field through his published works. He has authored several books that explore profound aspects of the human experience, including “Saminchilu: The Way of Life,” “Love, Pain, Deceit, and Other Human Mysteries,” and “Therapeutic Martial Arts.” He is also actively engaged in the development of the Complete Mental Status Evaluation (CMSE) assessment scale, a project that showcases his dedication to advancing the understanding and treatment of mental health.

Psychology is the science of behavior and mind. It includes the study of conscious and unconscious phenomena, as well as feeling and thought. It is an academic discipline of immense scope. Psychologists assess, diagnose, and treat the psychological problems and behavioral dysfunctions resulting from, or related to, physical and mental health. In addition, they play a major role in the promotion of healthy behavior, preventing diseases and improving patients’ quality of life.
