Dr. Naghmeh Yousefzadeh is a pathologist With two sub specialities of dermatopathology and nephropathology, who is currently managing director at Mid-Atlantic pathology services / Aurora diagnostics located at Sterling VA. She's also assistant professor of dermatopathology in the department of dermatology at Howard University, with extensive teaching experience in the field of dermatopathology and dermatology.

Dr. Yousefzadeh with 20 decades of practice brings tremendous knowledge and skill to her work at Mid-Atlantic Pathology Services.

Prior to that, Dr. Yousefzadeh served at Ameripath/Dermpath Diagnostics Laboratory in Port Chester, NY, since 2006. Before that, she served at Dianon Systems in Stratford, CT.

For many years Dr. Yousefzadeh has taught dermatopathology to dermatology residents in multiple academic institutions, including SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY (as clinical assistant professor), as well as Metropolitan Hospital in NYC. She has been involved in the board review of dermatopathology for dermatology residents. In addition, she has assisted in the training of dermatopathology fellows at Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology. As a faculty member of the Howard University she teaches dermatopathology to dermatology residents.

Dr. Yousefzadeh completed fellowships in dermatopathology (trained by Dr. A. Bernard Ackerman and Dr. Geoffery Gottlieb) at Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology, Department of Dermatology, Columbia University, New York, NY;

She also is trained in nephropathology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutes, Department of Pathology/ Renal Pathology, Baltimore, MD. She served her residency in pathology at George Washington University Medical Center, Washington, DC
