Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Debbie A. Field-Kresie, who serves patients in Topeka, Kansas.

A seasoned obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Field-Kresie works with patients at her private practice in Topeka, Kansas.

Back in 1981, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Baker University, and graduated with her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1985. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine in 1989.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics & gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).

Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Field-Kresie has been the recipient of the Patients' Choice Award (2018, 2017, 2015, 2014), On-Time Doctor Award (2018, 2017, 2015), and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2015, 2014).

In her free time, she enjoys gardening.
