Back in the early days of his academic career, Dr. Pullano obtained his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in the Philippines in 1978. He then went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at Lutheran Medical Center, and his fellowship in gastroenterology at Maimonides Medical Center in New York.

With over four decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
