With the advent of COVID, they have diligently revamped their office and scheduling patterns to keep their patients safe at all times.  The skilled doctors and friendly staff provide the highest quality care using the most sophisticated technology available. In addition to glaucoma surgery, Dr. Walker performs state-of-the-art, small-incision, sutureless cataract surgery to ensure her patients the best post-operative results available. She is committed to providing each patient with a superior level of care in a friendly and personalized environment.  Dr. Walker performs surgery at the Wills Surgical Center in Warminster and the Fort Washington Surgical Center in Fort Washington.

Possessing immense knowledge and skills in eye and vision care, the doctor is a Diplomat, Fellow, and Board Examiner of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. As such, she is responsible for ensuring that her peers have the necessary qualifications to become practicing ophthalmologists. 

In practice for over three decades, Dr. Walker graduated with her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis in 1989. She then went on to perform her residency in ophthalmology at Barnes Hospital, rated one of U.S. News & World Reports’ Top 10 Ophthalmology programs.

Following her residency training, she received the distinction of serving as Chief Resident and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Barnes Hospital. As part of her expertise, she completed a year-long fellowship program in the field of glaucoma at the Scheie Eye Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. 

In 2001, Dr. Walker was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), an honor bestowed on experienced surgeons by their peers. She also attained board certification in ophthalmology through the American Board of Ophthalmology, an independent, non-profit organization responsible for certifying ophthalmologists in the United States of America. 

Committed to helping those who are visually impaired, she has been on the Board of Directors for the Bucks County Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired for the past 10 years. In addition, she actively participates on the teaching staff of the Glaucoma Service At Wills Eye Hospital as an Assistant Professor.
