Thank you for asking this very important question. Bleeding gums is a symptom of problems with your gums. I will suggest you schedule an appointment ASAP with periodontist (gum specialist) to diagnose and treat the condition. There is a high probability you have periodontal (gum) disease. Diabetes makes your blood vessels and immune system week, which worsens gum disease. On the other hand, because periodontal disease is an oral infection, it can worsen diabetes in patients with untreated condition. Thank you for the question. Depends of the health status of the mouth, how soon after the extraction the implant was placed , the material of the implant titanium or ceramic zirconia.
