Dr. Karim Toursarkissian is an obstetrician-gynecologist practicing in Redlands, CA and Banning, CA. His area of expertise is minimally-invasive surgery with a primary focus on robotic surgery using the latest platform from Intuitive Surgical. He is certified to work on the latest DaVinci Xi and on Single-site robotic surgery. Additionally, he has received extensive training and developed expertise and competence in the field of pelvic reconstruction, including urinary incontinence.

Dr. Toursarkissian uses Redlands Community Hospital as primary robotic center for inpatient and outpatient surgeries and the Riverside Community Hospital DeAnza Surgical Center for outpatient robotics. He also holds privileges at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda Surgical Hospital.

Dr. Toursarkissian has held academic positions while practicing in the New Orleans area both at Tulane University Scholl of Medicine and at The Louisiana State University School of Medicine where he won the Award for Faculty of the Year. He was also an early academic pioneer as a Clinical Assistant Professor of ObGyn at The University of California School of Medicine at Riverside, CA.

Dr. Toursarkissian has won several awards while in Medical School and during his Residency training at The University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He graduated with High Distinction and was recognized in the top 3% of all medical students in the USA in 1988 as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
