Dr. Chad Franks a board certified general surgeon and functional medicine physician, is making a significant impact on the healthcare industry at The Art of Integrative Medicine & Wellness. Performing surgery out of Aspen Mountain Medical Center, he combines his expertise in surgery with a patient-centered approach to ensure each individual receives personalized and effective care for their specific medical needs.

With a keen focus on utilizing advanced tools and techniques, Dr. Franks is dedicated to accurately diagnosing conditions and providing the best treatment options available. His clinical interests span a wide range of surgical procedures, including hernia repair, EGD, colposcopy, laparoscopic surgery, as well as appendix, gallbladder, and intestinal surgeries.

Born and raised on a cattle ranch in Idaho that has been in his family for over a century, Dr. Franks has a deep-rooted connection to his community and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. He obtained his Medical Degree with honors from Ross University School of Medicine in 2001 and embarked on his medical career with a residency that began in New York City during the tragic events of 9/11, ultimately completing his training in Saginaw, Michigan in 2007.

In 2020, Dr. Franks felt there was more to health and wellness than traditional Western medicine, sparking an interest in functional medicine. He has been pursuing both a board certification and fellowship in functional medicine to better serve and support the well-being of the community he passionately cares for.
