The doctor’s practice has been designated as a Regional Training Center for Sacral Neuromodulation for voiding dysfunction of the bladder and bowel. This is one of 6 centers in the country and the only center in the North East. Physicians from around the country and the world have the opportunity to come and learn Dr. Simon’s techniques that have been shown to dramatically improve patients’ quality of life.

A native of Bergen County, Dr. Simon earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in urology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Thereafter, he became board-certified in urology by the American Board of Urology (ABU). The mission of the ABU is to act for the benefit of the public by establishing and maintaining standards of certification for urologists, as well as by working with certified urologists to achieve lifelong learning to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe, and ethical urologic care.
As a member of the Society of Urologic Prosthetic Surgeons, Dr. Simon is also one of the most experienced providers in the country of the InterStim™ sacral neuromodulation. He teaches doctors from all over the globe how to utilize InterStim™ in their practices. What’s more, he has published several papers, presented at national conferences, and currently serves as the Chief of Urology at Hudson Crossing Surgical Center.
