  • Why are my 5 year old son's teeth rotting?

    Well if you are putting him to bed with a bottle or sippy cup in his crib this sugar exposure can be leading to decay. He should be going to the dentist every six months to have the teeth checked and to get fluoride treatments that will help the teeth fight against cavities. It can affect the developing permanent teeth so it is important to have it addressed. Kids can start going to the dentist starting at one year old.   • Are my medications staining my teeth?

    Liquid Iron supplements can cause yellowing of the teeth. The tablets aren't as bad, but can cause minimal staining. You should have your teeth checked by a dentist to make sure there isn't some other reason why your teeth are staining. READ MORE

    They wanted to charge $3,000.00 for a root canal, which would typically be $1,000.00. I had an extraction done with one tooth "pulled" ended up being close to $500.00 (x-ray on 1 tooth, tooth pulled, gas). After about an hour sitting in the chair terrified, the second they were done they said, "You're paid, you can leave now." I left slightly disoriented and felt like I wasn't treated very well because I did not choose the more expensive treatment option (that I could not afford). I sat in my car for about 15 minutes to collect myself, after being immediately sent on my way after an hour worth of drilling. No one asked if I was okay or cared about my well-being. I left and drove myself home crying and dizzy. Worst experience EVER! I will not be going back. If you don’t mind dropping lots of cash you will be happy going to this dentist.
