A Certified Patient-Centered Medical Home, Stark County Medical Group offers the following services: well exam visits, welcome to Medicare visits, annual wellness visits, routine visits, and same day acute appointments; phlebotomy/lab services- including, but not limited to, rapid strep, rapid mono, rapid influenza testing, venipuncture, urinalysis, hemoglobin, and hematocrit; coumadin finger stick- results and instructions available same day; diagnostic testing – EKG, spirometry, hearing tests, vision testing, and 24 hour holter monitor; minor surgical procedures- wart removal, skin lesion removal, incision and drainage; as well as diabetic and nutrition education.
Holding a teaching position, Dr. Hollaway serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
With an ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and advocacy for children, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also a member with the Ohio State Medical Association and the Stark County Medical Society.
With a broad educational background, Dr. Hollaway graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Combined Sciences from Youngstown State University in 1985. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 1990. As for her training, she completed an internal medicine / pediatrics residency program at Miami Valley Hospital and Dayton Children’s Hospital.
Throughout her extensive medical career, she has obtained additional training in women’s health and has a special interest in this field. Currently, she is affiliated with Summa Akron City Hospital, Aultman Hospital, and Mercy Medical Center.
Licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Furthermore, she is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
