Dr. Brian Acunto practices Emergency Medicine in Atlantic County, New Jersey. Dr. Acunto is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. Since 2010 Dr. Acunto has worked for Atlantic Emergency Associates in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He constinues to work at the emergency departments for AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Acunto serves multiple admininstrative roles at AtlantiCare Reigonal Medical Center. He currently serves as the interim chair of the department of Emergency Medicine and as the Medical Safety Officer for the institution. His passion is to make medicare safe by acknowledging human fatcors in health care systems and improve healthcare by implementing high reliable processes.
