The diagnosis and treatment of active individuals and athletes of all ages, ranging from toddlers to 90-year-old marathon warriors, has been Dr. Honsik’s career passion. He specializes in the conservative treatment of pediatric and adult fractures, having developed and managed fracture clinics since 2001. His regenerative services/treatments include platelet-rich plasma, AmnioFix, and stem cell therapies for the treatment of muscle, tendon, ligament, cartilage, and bone.

For the more accurate diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, he utilizes musculoskeletal diagnostic ultrasound. Through the use of ultrasound for guidance, he is able to provide care for chronic tendon injuries with microsurgical techniques such as Tenex (tenotomy), which can be performed in the clinic setting.

In regards to his educational background, Dr. Honsik attended DePauw University and the University of Illinois for his undergraduate degrees.
