A skilled rheumatologist, Dr. Mallipeddi is affiliated with Hendricks Rheumatology in Plainfield, Indiana. She specializes in treating rheumatic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, spondyloarthropathy, 

sjogren's syndrome, polymyalgia rheumatica, gout.

Academically, Dr. Mallipeddi obtained her medical degree from Guntur Medical College in India, and her Master of Public Health degree from the West Virginia University School of Public Health. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and her fellowship in rheumatology at the Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Passionate about her profession, the doctor is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Remaining up to date in her field, Dr. Mallipeddi is an active member of the American College of Physicians , the American College of Rheumatology.

Rheumatology is a branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases. Physicians who have undergone formal training in rheumatology are called rheumatologists. Rheumatologists treat arthritis, autoimmune diseases and osteoporosis.
