Get to know Orthodontist Dr. Jennifer A. Sullivan, who serves patients in Midland, Texas.

A skilled orthodontist, Dr. Sullivan brings her compassion, enthusiasm, expertise, and bilingual ability (Spanish/English) onboard to the team at Smile Straight Orthodontics in Midland, Texas.

Having grown up in Indianapolis, Indiana, Dr. Sullivan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University in 1999 and her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2003. In 2004, she received her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate, also from the University of Pennsylvania. 

From 2004 until 2007, she practiced general dentistry and was a faculty member of Clinical & Restorative Dentistry at the University of Kentucky. She went on to receive her Master’s degree & Certificate of Orthodontics from the University of Kentucky Orthodontic Graduate Program in 2010.

Active in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Sullivan has attended numerous continuing education courses and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics.

Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. Orthodontists are responsible for identifying problems with the positioning of a patient’s teeth and with their oral development. They utilize the most advanced procedures and equipment available to ensure that every patient achieves a healthy and beautiful smile. 

Happily married, Dr. Sullivan and her husband have two daughters. They call West Texas home and are enjoying all that the great state of Texas has to offer. In her free time, Dr. Sullivan enjoys spending time with her family and many pets, learning, experiencing new cultures, reading, cooking, and traveling.
