A trusted pediatric endocrinologist, Dr. Sequeira is in practice with LAC+USC Pediatrics in Los Angeles, California.
Serving as a pediatric endocrine attending physician, she performs inpatient consultations for pediatric endocrinology. She also attends the Pediatric Endocrinology Clinic, is very active in pediatric endocrine research, and is starting a Transitional Care Clinic for patients over 18 with Type I Diabetes.
Prior to her current endeavors, she has served as Director of Clinic for Adults and Young Adults with Type I Diabetes, Endocrine Consultant for LGBTQ Clinic, and as an Endocrine Consultant for Gestational Diabetes Clinic.
Graduating medical school from the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, Dr. Sequeira went on to perform her residency and fellowship at LAC+USC.
Following her training, the doctor attained board certification in internal medicine & endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
