Back in 1990, Dr. Pullakhandam graduated with his medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in Secunderabad, India. Upon relocating to the United States, he performed his residency in internal medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in 1996, his residency in anesthesiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 1999, and his fellowship in critical care medicine at Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in 2000.

Following his training, the doctor attained board certification in anesthesiology and critical care medicine through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA). As the certifying body for anesthesiologists since 1938, the ABA is committed to partnering with physicians to advance lifelong learning and exceptional patient care.
