Dr. Brook Wager practices Emergency Medicine for WorldWide Medical Services, and is currently stationed at Fort Yates, serving the Sioux Tribe at Standing Rock, near Bismark, North Dakota. He previously practiced in Texas Galveston, Corpus Christi, and El Paso. Shortly after Dr. Wager arrived at the beachside practice of Outer Banks Hospital, and then returned to his home state of Colorado to live and practice near Steamboat, followed by a move to Fort Collins. During the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Wager did virtual consultation and expert work until he deemed it safe to return to the Emergency Department. In the ED, Dr. Wager assesses patients who seek immediate medical attention at any time of day or night. Dr. Wager examines patients, determines means of testing, diagnoses conditions, and decides the best treatment methods.
Dr. Wager enjoys sharing his adventures, and tips from the Emergency Department on his YouTube channel "Mad Mountain Adventures Colorado" where his latest mini-series entitled "ABCs of the Emergency Department" a discussion of "Lethal and dangerous diagnoses from A to Z as they typically present in the emergency department." He can also be found on TikTok by searching the handle @brok3md. He enjoys reading books, and following artists of all types.
