Get to know Emergency Physician Dr. Brook R. Wager, who serves patients in Fort Collins, Colorado.

A devoted emergency physician, Dr. Wager is in practice at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center.

With a broad educational background, Dr. Wager obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and completed residency training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
