Advanced Surgical Associates offers minimally invasive surgery services including hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, breast surgery, laparoscopic procedures, ENT and general surgery. Each highly experienced individual in their staff helps patients get through their surgical procedures quickly and with minimal stress. Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Cooper received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. She completed her internship at the Peninsula Hospital Center, and her residency in general surgery at the St. Barnabas Hospital.

Subsequently, she went on to complete her fellowship in cardiothoracic vascular surgery at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, her fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Alabama Medical Center, and her fellowship in endovascular surgery at Ohio University.

Prior to joining Advanced Surgical Associates, Dr. Cooper worked as a vascular surgeon at Western Arizona Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Arizona.

Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty in which diseases of the vascular system, including the arteries, veins, and lymphatic circulation, are managed by medical therapy, minimally invasive catheter procedures, and surgical reconstruction.
