Dr. Cordova, a skilled general and cosmetic dentist, is the President of JC Dental in Rockaway, New Jersey. He works alongside Dr. Herminio Perez, DMD, MBA and Dr. Jonnathan Matute, DMD.

JC Dental is a full service practice providing a wide range of expertise including preventive, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. The practice’s goal is to provide patients and their entire families with the best dental care available. This goal is achieved through a joint effort of experienced specialists in house and around the area and the highly trained staff who not only truly care for their patients, but who’s number one priority is to meet individual needs with personalized service at the state-of-the-art facility.

Dr. Cordova attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree in 1995.  In 1997 he completed his two year General Practice Residency at Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Lyons, New Jersey where he covered all aspects of general dentistry, including restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.

In 2001, Dr. Cordova established his private practice in Rockaway, NJ and for the last 20 years has strived to provide his patients with complete oral care beginning with the diagnosis to the completion of the necessary treatment. His up-to-date knowledge of dental medicine along with his charisma and good rapport with patients, staff and colleagues have helped his practice grow into a multi-disciplinary operation including everything from preventive, general and cosmetic dentistry to implant dentistry and oral surgery .

Dr. Cordova is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD).  He holds a license to practice general dentistry in New Jersey from the Northeast Regional Board of Dental Examiners and a license to practice general dentistry from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Department of Health.  As a native of the island of Puerto Rico, he is fluent in both English and Spanish and feels very connected to the Latin community in Morris County.  

When not working, Dr. Cordova enjoys spending time with his wife Rose Marie and their young daughter Carolina as well as traveling with his family and friends, exploring new places and cultures but most of all he enjoys spending time on the links playing a round of golf.
