After earning his Degree from Oakland University, Dr. Perkins pursued his medical education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He further enriched his expertise with an additional year of sub-specialty training at Michigan State University, focusing on advanced arthroscopic surgery and sports medicine. During this period, he served as a team physician for Spartans Athletics, various local high school teams, the Chicago Cubs organization’s minor league baseball team, “Lansing Lug-nuts,” and the Capital Centre Pride of the North American Junior hockey league.
