Get to know Radiologist Dr. Maurice J. Hale, who serves patients in Glendale, California.

A respected board-certified radiologist, Dr. Hale is the President and CEO of Diagnostic Image Network, with four premier radiology centers in the greater Los Angeles area. He specializes in X-ray scans, CT & PET scans, ultrasounds, mammography, MRI, abscess drainage, paracentesis, myelograms, and angiograms.

Diagnostic Imaging Network provides the most comprehensive range of medical diagnostic imaging procedures available in the greater Los Angeles area. The four DIN locations deliver services in a patient-friendly environment with an emphasis on compassion, comfort, and convenience. 

A Glendale resident for over 15 years, Dr. Hale earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1992. He completed his internship and residency in radiology at the Harlem Hospital Center in 1997, followed by his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of Rochester in 1998.

Licensed to practice medicine in California, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). The ABR is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics.

Among his professional affiliations, he is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Interventional Radiology, and the Los Angeles Radiological Society.

With a passion for the health and well-being of all people, Dr. Hale is truly making a difference in the community. As an advocate for creating a better healthcare system that is better able to diagnose serious medical conditions in their early stages, he tirelessly lectures and educates fellow physicians and patients on some of the most technologically advanced diagnostic imaging techniques available. 

Being a force for healthcare improvement, he has generously supported many charitable causes in the community. These include providing financial support to help disadvantaged and underprivileged young people attain their dreams through a college education.

Radiology refers to the field of medicine that uses non-invasive imaging scans to diagnose a patient. A radiologist is a physician who uses imaging methodologies to diagnose and manage patients and provide therapeutic options. 

Very active in the community, Dr. Hale uses his resources to drive positive, measurable change to improve the lives of people who are in turn, improving educational and employment opportunities for marginalized communities. He occupies leadership positions on the Chandler School Board of Trustees and as a board member of the Gamma Zeta Boule Foundation. There are many charitable organizations he supports that align with his values as a father, a physician and an African-American.
