A native of India, Dr. Narayana received his undergraduate degree from Bangalore University, and earned his medical degree from Bangalore Medical College. After relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency in psychiatry at the Veterans Administration Hospital, and an additional residency in psychiatry at Norwich Hospital. Finally, he completed his fellowship in biological psychiatry and psychopharmacology at the Bronx Psychiatry Center.
Recognized as a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry by the the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to serving the professions of psychiatry and neurology.
