Get to know Pulmonologist Dr.  Butchi Babu Paidipaty, who serves patients in Saginaw, Michigan.

Dr. Paidipaty is an experienced pulmonologist who diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders of the respiratory tract. He works in the intensive care unit at Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.

A 1971 graduate of Guntur Medical College in India, Dr. Paidipaty relocated to the United States to further his training. Once there, he performed his residency at UM Prince George’s Hospital Center.

With over five decades of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Holding fellowship status, Dr. Paidipaty is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), and a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM).

Happily married, Dr. Paidipaty and his wife have two daughters and a son. In his spare time, he enjoys reading and traveling to Guatemala and his native land, India, to take care of patients. He is the recipient of the Power of Dad Fatherhood Recognition Award.
