Dr. Rahbar is the Founder and Medical Director of Los Angeles Integrative Gastroenterology & Nutrition in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Rahbar earned his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1978. He then went on to complete his internship at the New Rochelle Medical Center, followed by his residency in internal medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital in New York – one of the most prestigious and well-known medical facilities in the world. He also completed his fellowship in gastroenterology and nutrition at the Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Dr. Rahbar holds board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Gastroenterology, the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, and the American Board of Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine. He is also a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. 

Dr. Rahbar has won several awards throughout his career, including a Patient’s Choice Award. This special honor is bestowed to less than 5% of the nation’s practicing physicians. A Patient’s Choice Award is given to doctors who go above and beyond when treating their patients. Additionally, Dr. Rahbar is a recipient of the Vitals Compassionate Doctor Award.
